We start for establishment of GTI Consortium
Monday May 11th, 2015
Shibaura Institute of Technology establishes “the GTI (Global Technology Initiative) consortium” consisting of domestic and foreign universities, companies and government offices to accelerate human resource development and creation of the innovation by strengthening the cooperation of universities and companies around Southeast Asia.
Toward the establishment of the GTI consortium within the year, we held the first organizing committee meeting with the Japanese members on 11th May.
Real-world agendas such as technical problems that companies face and environmental problems that developing countries face are covered in gPBL (Project Based Learning). And we promote international collaborative research, an exchange program, global internship, and intergovernmental project in the GTI consortium.
Shibaura Institute of Technology will serve as the base for these activities.
